UNSC Resolution 2334: A teaching moment for GoY?
Probably not, but certainly a teaching moment about GoY

This sort of thing really brings out Congressional
Yisrael-Firsters and shekel-suckers

The Dec23|2016 near-unanimous vote of 14-0 in the UN Security Council to pass Resolution 2334 was one of dozens of UNSC resolutions passed over the last 50 years castigating the Government of Yisrael (GoY); and so, the abstention by the USG is not "unpresidented" (to borrow a cretinous term from the next US president, who is, not by coincidence, a LogoPhere-certified cretin). Unfortunately, it is hard to resist the conclusion that this resolution, like the rest, will have no real effect in eliminating the apartheid outrage that is destroying Palestine, and it will just be another number on the long list of ineffective UN resolutions condemning GoY. But then again, considering how Bibi Netanyahu has gone into orbit, perhaps this resolution will, if nothing else, become a teaching moment for the world about who and what GoY really is.

I mean, why is it that this one nuclear-armed, rogue country draws so much ire from almost every other country on Earth . . .oh, hold on.  I guess the answer is obvious in the question: It's because GoY is nuclear armed, and rogue, and refuses to join any nuclear non-proliferation treaties, or even admit that it has atomic and hydrogen bombs.  It's also because of GoY's apartheid policies dating back to the 1930's that are designed and implemented to wipe the Palestinians out of Palestine. The problem is not that these toxic people are Jews; the problem is that they are iJews, which is to say zionists, which is to say racists.

Clearly, with Obama no longer requiring a flow of shekels into his campaign coffers, he decided finally to do the right thing and withheld the automatic US veto of a long overdue UNSC resolution against GoY's apartheid policies in Palestine. But of course, not everyone in Washington is getting out of politics next month, and a bunch of US shekel-suckers still need that Yisreali funding, so some of these politicians, otherwise known as "Yisrael-Firsters" or "Y-Fi-ers" let rip on Obama in order to demonstrate their fealty to Bibi and GoY.

Here's a Bullet List Analysis to summarize what has gone down in the last 48 hours or so:

  • UNSC Resolution 2334

Resolution 2334 is, like so much in the diplomatic world, more significant for what lies between the lines than the lines themselves. Nevertheless, the language is uncharacteristically direct. The resolution: 1) calls the GoY settlements in Palestine illegal; 2) demands that GoY cease all "settlement activity" in Palestine; and 3) refuses to accept any GoY-imposed boundaries that change the Jun1967 boundaries, which are actually the 1948 boundaries.

Consequently, going forward those of us who loath GoY for what it has done -- and is doing -- to Palestine will be able to use 2016 as a well-defined temporal reference point and Resolution 2334 as a clearly stated document to back up our accusations that GoY's attempts to destroy Palestine are, and always have been, illegal. If there has ever been any doubt about GoY being a rogue state, there is no doubt now. That is why Bibi is in orbit, which only proves the point.

  • GoY's response

Instead of understanding that one of the purposes and the point of the UN is to provide a forum for countries peacefully to criticize other countries and a forum for discussing the perceived problems in a civilized manner, the zionist Jews have become outraged at any attempt to make a public, historical record of their efforts to destroy Palestine and turn it into County Kerry of Eretz Yisrael.

Of course, Obama has been the target of the bulk of Bibi's bilious ranting. The problem, from Bibi's POV, is that the USG is GoY's minion and is expected to do what GoY demands and only what GoY demands in any instance relating to the Middle East and Eretz Yisrael.  Among the obligations that America has to GoY, according to GoY, is the annual infusion of billions of US taxpayers' dollars into GoY's bank account. It is the only country I am aware of that has the chutzpah to demand not just an annual pension but to negotiate how large that pension must be. Bizarre.

But the US was only one of 15 members sitting on the UNSC last Friday. I have not seen any reports of GoY retaliation or invective directed against the other permanent members, all of which did not just abstain but actually cast votes for Resolution 2334 and against Goy. The UK voted against GoY. So did France, China, and Russia, all of whom have, apparently, escaped Bibi's wrath. So far.

But GoY has totally gone off the rails as to the non-permanent members, particularly New Zealand, Malaysia, Senegal, and Venezuela, who demanded that Resolution 2334 be voted on.  Here is a list of the threats or actions that Bibi has taken against these countries as of today:

  • All aid programs to Senegal cancelled

  • Summoned and, presumably, chewed out the diplomats of all of  the 10 UNSC countries who have ambassadors in Yisrael.

  • Recalled its ambassadors to NZ and Senegal

  • Cancelled visits to Yisrael by non-permanent ambassadors from NZ  and Senegal.

  • Threatened to withhold funding of UN.

  • Summoned the US ambassador to Yisrael -- would love to hear that discussion.

  • The Y-Fi-ers' response

The reason they're called "Yisrael-Firsters" is because they are US politicians who put Yisrael's interests before the interests of their own constituents and country.  Here are statements of outrage blathered by some of these Y-Fi-ers.  The numbers in parentheses are estimates of the lifetime donations these Y-Fi-ers have accepted from Yisrael PACs. The figures are given in shekels ($1 = 3.82 Israel New Shekels).  These are estimates and the figures vary from source to source depending on what is considered a Yisrael PAC, but they give you an idea of why Bibi's million-shekel babies in Congress are flipping out over Resolution 2334. The quotes are from The Hill unless otherwise noted.

  • Tom Cotton (3,670,451 shekels -- this is just one donation to Cotton from the Emergency Committee for Israel. Source)

"The UN and nations supporting this resolution have now imperiled all forms of U.S. assistance. I look forward to working with President-elect Trump and members of both parties in Congress to decide what the consequences for this action will be."

  • Mitch McConnell (1,859,490 shekels)

"a failure of leadership and judgment"

  • Chuck Scuhmer (1,806,722 shekels)

"The U.N. has been a fervently anti-Israel body since the days of ‘Zionism is racism’ and, unfortunately, that fervor has never diminished."

  • Ted Cruz (1,497,666 shekels)

"Spoke w/ Israeli PM @netanyahu tonight to wish him Happy Chanukah & assure him of strong support in Congress. No US $ for UN until reversed." Source

  • Lindsey Graham (1,483,087 shekels)

"At a time when the Security Council does nothing to stop the slaughter of half a million people in Syria, it disgracefully gangs up on the one true democracy in the Middle East, Israel and calls the Western Wall ‘occupied territory."

  • Ron Wyden (1,370,182 shekels)

"I am deeply disappointed that the administration set aside longstanding U.S. policy to allow such a one-sided resolution to pass,” Wyden said in a statement. "Actions like this will only take us further from the peace we all want to see."

  • John McCain (910,753 shekels)

"Today's passage of an ill-conceived resolution on Israeli settlements marks another shameful chapter in the bizarre anti-Israel history of the United Nations"

  • Richard Blumenthal (505,950 shekels)

"Support for Israel must remain bipartisan, and I will work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to advance productive measures that strengthen our commitment to this critical ally.”

  • Paul Ryan (453,335 shekels)

"Today's vote is a blow to peace that sets a dangerous precedent for further diplomatic efforts to isolate and demonize Israel. . ."

By way of comparison and out of a sense of fairness I also point out that Jewish senator Dianne Feinstein (537,202 shekels) totally supported Obama in this instance. And this is important because she presents such a clear distinction between American Jews who see and who admit the shortcomings of GoY on one hand and iJews and Y-Fi-ers on the other. Feinstein said:

“I’ve watched with growing concern the increase in Israeli settlements over the years, where approximately 400,0000 individuals now live. I believe the expansion of settlements has but one goal: to undermine the viability of a two-state solution.” Source

  • DTDuck's response

The first thing to note about The Duck's involvement is that he was involved at all. Apparently, like so many things, he doesn't get it. He thinks that after the election there are two presidents until he is inaugurated. He thinks because he has Secret Service protection and gets intel briefings that he has some sort of license to butt in when it comes to foreign affairs. He is an idiot.

And butt in is just what he did, which brings us to the second thing to note: DTDuck has now shown the world how he, too, will jump to Bibi's commands and will lick Bibi's ass when instructed to.  This is our new president. Idiot.

When Egypt, who is a temporary member of the UNSC, signaled that they were going to put the resolution up for a vote, Bibi got on the hook to The Duck and demanded that he do something to stop the vote because Obama refused to. Instead of telling Bibi to piss off, The Duck called Egypt's president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and demanded that he postpone the vote until after The Duck is president and can control the veto. But NZ, Malaysia, Senegal, Venezuela -- all temporary members of the UNSC -- called bullshit on The Duck and threatened to bring the resolution to a vote if Egypt didn't.  The rest is, as they say, history and the score for this round is: Trump - 0.  Bibi - 0.  Obama - 1. Palestine - 10.

Since losing on this issue and making a (more) complete ass of himself in the process, DTDuck has been relatively reserved. His comment has been pretty much restricted to tweeting: "The big loss yesterday for Israel in the United Nations will make it much harder to negotiate peace. Too bad, but we will get it done anyway!"  Yeah, he sure called that right -- it was a "big loss" for Israel.

And so in just 48 hours the world has seen and learned a lot about GoY and it's Y-Fi-ers in Congress.  And about DTDuck and how he has already become Bibi's lap-dog, a month before the inauguration.  Resolution 2334 has been a real teaching moment for the world.

If anyone still needs a reason why the world should boycott, divest from, and sanction GoY, Resolution 2334 and the events over the last 48 hours pretty much provide that reason.
