Gadhafi’s bad hair day

Bloged in Middle East, America, World Events by Gutter Grunt Saturday October 22, 2011 at about 9:51 pm

When you saw Muammar Gadhafi (Qadhafi, Gaddafi, Qaddafi — who knows? Now who cares?) in those videos being pulled from a sewer pipe yesterday, you could see right off things were not looking good for him and not likely to improve.  He looked like a too-stoned kola bear having a bad hair day and being set upon by a pack of rabid dingos to boot. Is “Nazi” a trademark of the Anti-Defamation League?

Bloged in Miscellaneous, Israelis, Media Fails, Israeli Firsters by Gutter Grunt Wednesday October 19, 2011 at about 10:23 am

Abe Foxman and his so-called Anti-Defamation League think they own trademark rights to the word “Nazi.”

Foxman’s “logic” (almost verbatim) is this:  The Nazis butchered millions of Jews in the Holocaust, and therefore anyone who uses the word “Nazi” has to do so in a way that does not diminish the history of the Holocaust.

Here’s the story: (more…)

Watch Mansoor Arbabsiar Disappear

Bloged in Middle East, Israelis, America, World Events by Gutter Grunt Sunday October 16, 2011 at about 2:49 pm

There is much that is strange about the Mansoor Arbarsiar case, and even more that is unbelievable.  The only written facts we have about the case are set forth in an affidavit and “sealed amended complaint” by FBI special agent O. Robert Woloszyn.  Given that the complaint is sealed, which is lawyer-talk for “secret,” it is odd that the FBI would have made it publicly available — odd, that is, unless the whole point of this exercise is to pump up the US public and get idiot congressmen like Peter King to start screaming about going to war.  [See my last post, Oct12, 2011.] (more…)

Idjit quote of the day — Oct12.11

Bloged in Middle East, World Events by Gutter Grunt Wednesday October 12, 2011 at about 9:46 am

In response to the alleged plot to take out the Saudi ambassador to the U.S., we find these idjit comments in the Daily Mail. . .

Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal: “The burden of proof is overwhelming, and clearly shows official Iranian responsibility for this.”

Republican chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee Peter King: “the ‘flagrant and notorious’ plot was ‘an act of war’ and that military action could not be ruled out”

Well, in the U.S. the burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt for criminal convictions, and while that burden of proof is often “overwhelming,” the evidence at this point is not.  At the moment the evidence looks more like Saudi Arabia, Israel, U.S., and Mexico joining forces to concoct a wild story in order to justify attacks on Iran before it puts all of its nuke technology beyond the reach of the bunker busters.

And the last thing the world needs right now is an idjit, knee-jerk congressman like King with an anti-Muslim agenda spouting off about acts of war.  Grow up, shut up, and wait for evidence that is beyond a reasonable doubt.

The Rumsfeld Interview: Al Jazeera Rattles the Cages of the Rabid Blog-dogs

Bloged in Miscellaneous, America, Wing-Nuts (Left), World Events by Gutter Grunt Wednesday October 5, 2011 at about 8:56 pm

Dij ja’ see that hot interview between Al Jazeera’s Abderrahim Foukara and Iraqi  baby-killer Donald Rumsfeld?

I’ll bet my left tush you didn’t.

And I’ll bet my right one that the only thing you saw was the 3 minute clip that was put up on the Al Jazeera video page and YouTube, grabbed by every bs-blogger who thinks he/she is a people’s news reporter, and spread all over the blogosphere. (more…)

Mohamed Osman Mohamud: The Plot Thickens

Bloged in America, BigBro, Good cop/Bad cop by Gutter Grunt Saturday October 1, 2011 at about 3:21 pm

According to the FBI, at 5:40 pm on Nov26.10 Mohamed Osman Mohamud [MOM] pressed the “send” button on a cell phone with the intention of detonating a fake bomb placed by FBI agents in the midst of a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, OR.  They busted MOM before he could get his finger off the button.

On the same date an FBI agent name Ryan Dwyer filed a criminal complaint against MOM in federal court in Portland and obtained an arrest warrant signed by Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta.  Dwyer backed up his complaint with a 36-page affidavit, referred to here as the “Dwyer Affidavit.”  Given the timeline, it is clear that the Dwyer Affidavit was written well before MOM pressed the button.  I mean how do you write a 36-page affidavit between 5:40 pm and the time the courthouse closes, or even before midnight???  This timeline alone is enough to lead to the conclusion that MOM was set up by Dwyer and friends.
